About 10minemail

A small disposable-email service, built and operated by one person. The public site is 10minemail.online. The addresses we issue use profemail.co.uk so they look professional instead of random digits.

Who writes this

I am the 10minemail operator. I designed the inbox, I run the UK VPS it lives on, I pay for the domains, and I write every guide on the blog. There is no newsroom and no content farm. If a page here is wrong, that is my mistake, and you can mail me at hello@10minemail.online.

I am based in the United Kingdom. I do not hide behind a fake staff page. I also do not put a home address on a disposable-mail site. The contact path is email. Abuse reports about 10minemail.online and profemail.co.uk are read by the same person who can actually shut a mailbox down.

Articles on this site carry a byline that points here. That is intentional: Google’s quality bar, and ordinary readers, should be able to tell a human is responsible.

Why this exists

A personal inbox is hard to replace. One trial, one download, or one “required email” field can mean years of newsletters. 10minemail gives you a mailbox that is meant to die: copy the address, catch the confirmation, and let the timer erase it.

This is a privacy tool for ordinary people, not a way to abuse other services. If you need a permanent identity, use a real mailbox you control. I say that on the homepage because I mean it.

How it is built

Mail is received through Catchmail and pushed into your tab over a live connection. Inboxes live in memory on the server for the countdown only. The site is served over HTTPS from a VPS I operate. There is no user account and no password to steal.

Addresses are built from first and last names so signup forms are less likely to reject them. The website name stays 10minemail so people can find the tool; the mail domain stays professional so the address looks ordinary in a form. I wrote that split up in professional addresses vs random digits.

How the project stays online

Server and domain costs are paid out of pocket. Optional PayPal donations help. There is no paywall and no “premium inbox” upsell. If ads appear on information pages, they are there to keep the lights on, not to bury the inbox.

Questions, privacy requests, and abuse reports go to hello@10minemail.online. I take reports about our domains seriously.
