Privacy Policy

What we process. When you open the inbox we store a random session token in your browser (localStorage) and a short-lived inbox on our server (address, expiry, message copies). We also set a long-lived visitor cookie (pobox10_vid) so we can count unique visitors; it is a random id, not your name. Server logs include your IP. To pick a language we may look up country and ISP for that IP. We do not ask for your name and we do not require an account.

Cookies. We use a language cookie if you pick a language, the visitor id cookie above, plus the session token in localStorage. When Google AdSense is active, Google and its partners use cookies to serve and measure ads. Opt out of personalised ads at Google Ads Settings. See also Google’s Privacy Policy.

Donations. Optional PayPal donations are processed by PayPal. We do not collect card numbers on this site. PayPal’s own privacy policy applies when you donate.

Analytics. If Google Analytics is enabled, it may collect page views, approximate location, and device data.

Mail content. Messages sent to a 10minemail address are retrieved so we can display them, then discarded when the inbox expires. Do not send secrets you cannot afford to expose.
