Privacy Policy

Last updated: 17 August 2026. This policy is for 10minemail.online and addresses issued on profemail.co.uk.

We do not require an account and we do not ask for your name. This page explains what we still process so the inbox can work, and what advertising partners may process if ads are enabled.

Who is responsible

10minemail.online is operated as an independent website. Privacy questions: hello@10minemail.online.

What we process

• Inbox session. A random token in your browser (localStorage) and a short-lived inbox on our server (address, expiry, message copies). This is how we show you the right mailbox.
• Visitor cookie. pobox10_vid is a random id stored for up to two years so we can count unique visitors. It is not your name or email.
• Cookie-notice choice. If you click OK on the cookie banner, we store a flag in localStorage so we do not show the banner again.
• Server logs. The web server may log IP address, browser type, time, and the page requested. Logs are used for security, abuse handling, and keeping the service running.
• Mail content. Messages sent to a 10minemail address are retrieved so we can display them, then discarded when the inbox expires.

We do not sell personal information. We do not build a marketing profile of you.

Cookies and similar storage

Essential storage: the inbox token, the visitor id cookie, and the cookie-notice flag. See the Cookie Policy for a shorter list.

Google advertising. When Google AdSense is active, Google and its partners use cookies to serve, measure, and (where allowed) personalise ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings and at aboutads.info. See also Google’s Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Visitors in the UK, EEA, and Switzerland: if advertising cookies are used, we will use Google’s consent messaging (or another certified consent platform) so non-essential advertising cookies are not set without a choice. Essential storage listed above plus the visitor-count cookie can be used without that extra step.

Analytics

If Google Analytics is enabled later, it may collect page views, approximate location, and device data under Google’s terms. This policy will be updated if that happens. It is not enabled at the time of this update.

Donations

Optional PayPal donations are processed by PayPal. We do not collect card numbers on this site. PayPal’s privacy policy applies when you donate.

How long we keep data

Inboxes and message copies are deleted when the countdown expires (or sooner if you click New address). Visitor ids are kept so the unique-visitor count remains consistent; you can clear the cookie in your browser. Server logs are kept only as long as needed for security and operations.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your choices

You can stop using the inbox at any time. You can clear site data in your browser to remove the token, visitor cookie, and cookie-notice flag. For a privacy question, email hello@10minemail.online.

Do not send secrets you cannot afford to expose. A temporary inbox is observable while it is active.
